I painted this mural on Beth and Jon’s house in Bristol, Victoria park, Totterdown. They are both keen on geology and came up with this great idea of portraying local rock strata from South West England.
It was a challenge to paint the various rock textures, I used spraycans freehand in the end as it was much quicker. It was nice to paint something different and learn some new techniques. This is the second house I’ve painted on this street and hopefully not the last!
Their two young boys wanted a dinosaur somewhere, they chose this ankylosaurus skeleton.
